New Package Launch
Compadre continually strives to provide the best packaging launch service available to U.S. manufacturers and branders. It is rare to find a packaging design and engineering company that can develop a concept and then prove it in the real world. At Compadre, we do that and do it fast. What sets Compadre apart is our ability to execute an end-to-end pilot or new packaging introduction. For each launch we source the materials necessary to complete the pack out, perform final kitting and then deliver the package to the test group.
To truly test a solution you have to go beyond the laboratory. Our packaging launch drives packaging solutions to the next generation through rapid “new product introduction” of the packaging solution, often in just six or seven days. Problems and inefficiencies are driven out prior to full production. The result is an elimination of costly mistakes and acceleration of cost reductions, improved customer experience and implementation of innovative designs.
Compadre has the full range of capabilities required to conduct a packaging launch. We source all of the materials necessary to complete pack-out of the product straight off the production line and then we deliver it to the consumer. These materials include corrugated, labels, print, plastics and foams. We also have the final kitting and fulfillment expertise for delivery to the introduction group.
To execute on a package launch, we manage the sourcing of materials out of our Nashville location, drawing from over a decade of sourcing experience. Pack-out and fulfillment for the launch is supported by our logistics hub in Cincinnati. Out of that facility we support U.S. manufacturers as well as some of the world’s largest Asian ODMs.
Our packaging launch expertise helps drive new product introduction. Research and development teams develop and focus on new products and these new products require world-class packaging designs. However, many times packaging concepts are explored at the initial design of the product, but have to be compromised or postponed in the urgency of bringing the product to market. Compadre works hand-in-hand with product design teams to fully develop packaging solutions in parallel with the final engineering of products.
